As part of the celebration we’ve updated Among Us 3D to drop some cosmetics into your wardrobe based off the Crewmates from the show! Dress up as your favorite member of the crew and betray everyone do tasks like your life depends on it.

Once updated, open the wardrobe so you can equip:

Huh… is it just us or are the Crewmates older?

It’s time to take a trip down memory vent because Among Us has reverted to its original look for April Fool’s Day Week with update v17.3.0! We haven’t used the OG art of the game since it was updated back in 2021 – doesn’t time fly? So, now’s your chance to jump in and relive (or live for the first time) that classic Among Us feel in your lobbies.

Isn’t there something just right about the OG look? The slightly different leg, the more crooked visor… it’s what Crewmates always were. While the mode is active, not everything gets reverted to the old look – it only works on items we have old sprites for like the Crewmates, Impostor kills, Emergency Meetings calls, and some of the cosmetics.

And don’t worry – if you prefer the modern look you can always toggle the mode off in the lobby creation menu. Round up your friends and start a lobby quick! Nostalgia Mode will only be here until April 8th at 17:00 UTC (10am PDT /1pm EDT).

It’s a beautiful day to do tasks, Crewmates!

March is almost over, but that means change is around the corner. Maybe that’ll mean less untimely deaths in Electrical (unless an Impostor has something to say about that)! Why not celebrate by indulging in the coming cherry blossom season with a beautiful, brand new set of cosmetics?

Hanami Cosmicube 🌸

Starting today, you can purchase our brand new Hanami Cosmicube for 30 Stars. Much like the lovely cherry blossoms the cosmetics are themed after, they won’t be around forever, so get yours before they’re gone on April 23, 2026 at 17:00 UTC!

Once you have the Cosmicube, you can start unlocking:

Do you think the serene blossoms will calm down the Impostors? That they’ll bask in the beauty of life? Yeah? No. Probably not. It’ll just remind them of how all good things must end. Oh well. We can’t wait to hear what you think as you enjoy the peace (ignore the blood-curdling screams) with your fellow Crewmates.

It’s the Japanese tradition of enjoying (viewing) cherry blossom flowers, or as some refer to it, the cherry blossom festival! You can read more about it here!

It’s official, Crewmates!

Our friend and partner, Schell Games, are officially handing Among Us 3D back to us at Innersloth. If you didn’t hear about it you can read about it on our blog and from Schell Games!

So, what does it all mean? Will the Skeld II come crashing down?! Will your VR headsets teleport you into Polus Point?!? No, and also no (sorry).

Let’s start with the basics. Among Us 3D and Among Us 3D: VR are here to stay! We aren’t planning to shut down the game anytime soon. If that time ever comes, you’ll be hearing from us first well in advance – no surprise ejections.

With the Definitive Edition available to all players across PlayStation VR2, Steam, Meta Quest, and PICO, you’ll be able to betray task to your heart’s content. Experience the joyous terror of getting cornered in the Mess Hall, and sow chaos in your own lobbies with the Engineer, Wraith, Deputy, and more fan-favorite roles.

This update wouldn’t be complete without some definitive looks! Each month there will be a fresh batch of cosmetics available via the in-game store. These will continue for the rest of the year (and further) so your Crewmate always has some new looks to die in task in.

Here’s your first hint for next month’s rotation: when it rains, it purrs.

Good Things Come To Those Who Wait

We already mentioned the Definitive Edition Update would be available on March 24th… and we were almost right. Unfortunately, somebody (not pointing fingers at Yellow or anything) set off a sabotage and we need a bit more time to get it all sorted.

Instead, the Among Us 3D Definitive Edition Update will launch on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026!

It’s a little bit longer of a wait… but trust. It’s worth it!
