Among Us Compatibility Requirements

Hi Crewmates!

As time moves forward (apparently 2017 was 5 YEARS ago??) and we continue updating the game, this means hardware requirements are going to change. We recently ran compatibility tests – please check out the results so you’re aware of what the requirements are for the game as of 2022!

Put simply: Here are what your device specs should be so Among Us works good.

PC Compatibility Suggestions

For a minimum PC configuration that shouldn’t affect the gameplay experience, we suggest:

  • CPU – INTEL i3-4330
  • GPU – INTEL HD Graphics 4600
  • RAM – 1 GB
  • OS – Windows 10 x32bit

For a recommended PC configuration, which will allow you to experience the game at a maximum framerate for all our current updates, we suggest:

  • CPU – INTEL i3-4330
  • GPU – Nvidia GTX 650
  • RAM – 4 GB
  • OS – Windows 10 x64bit

Android Compatibility Suggestions

For minimum hardware requirements, we recommend devices with the following specs (e.g. devices like LG Stylo 4 or Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge):

  • Chipset: Snapdragon 450 or equivalent
  • Minimum RAM: 2.1GB RAM
  • Minimum CPU: Cortex A53 or equivalent
  • Minimum GPU: Adreno 506 or equivalent

As recommended hardware requirements, we recommend devices with the following specs (e.g. devices like Samsung Galaxy S10):

  • Chipset: Snapdragon 855 or equivalent
  • RAM – 6GB RAM
  • CPU – Cortex A55 / A75 or equivalent
  • GPU: Adreno 640 or equivalent

iOS Compatibility Suggestions

For minimum hardware requirements, we recommend a device that is at least an iPhone 6s.

What happens if my device doesn’t meet the minimum hardware requirements?

Good question! Devices that don’t meet our minimum requirements means we cannot guarantee that your game will work on it. You may run into crashes, lag, or the game might not even start at all. This is a normal process as times goes on and new shiny tech is released. Games have to keep up with supporting both old and new devices, and at some point, the oldest devices become difficult or even impossible to support with their limited tech and space. This is even more prevalent with phones!

We have a lot planned for you, so making sure your device is updated, working, and compatible will make sure you have the smoothest time doing your tasks or killing your friends. And remember, if you have any issues, you can always check our Helpdesk for fixes or to submit a ticket to the team.
