Task Updated: A Note on Among Us 3D
Hi Crewmates!
For the last 4 years, our partner, Schell Games has delighted us all by bringing the Crewmates, Impostors, tasks, and betrayal we love into 3D and VR.
Rest assured, there was no betrayal with this partnership. The plan has always been for Innersloth to take back control of Among Us 3D and VR.
The success we have seen can’t be talked about without mentioning you (yes, you!) Every time you completed a task, caused an ejection, or screamed over proximity chat, you contributed to the game. Thank you for being a part of it!
Before we wave goodbye at the airlock doors, there’s another update coming: The Definitive Edition update. Arriving on March 24th, this update will bring back favorites from past limited time events, like the justice serving Vigilante and vengeance seeking Wraith, as permanent additions to the game. Alongside these returning roles, monthly cosmetic drops have also been set, so your Crewmate still has access to the latest drip for the rest of 2026 and onward!
When the update launches on the 24th, communications and support will transfer over to us here at Innersloth. If you have trouble with Among Us 3D or 3D:VR, you’ll be able to ask for help at our helpdesk. And if you’re looking for fellow 3D Crewmates, you can join our official Discord server to find other 3D and VR players.
It’s been a fun adventure! We can’t say thank you enough to the teams at Schell Games who brought our Crewmates to the 3D realm and gave our players another dimension (get it?) to play in. Be sure to check out some parting words from our friends on their blog.
